It’s official – Sound of Faith has a new family member!

Sound of Faith Broadcasting has officially launched their 4th Christian radio station in Southwestern Ontario!  The new Faith FM in Brantford held its re-launch celebration on Friday, August 24th and saw over 500 visitors from the community join in on the festivities.

Eagle-Com’s Audrey Cox was pleased to attend and represent various ministry supporters.  With original owners Tony and Vicki Schleifer each holding an end of the ribbon, Sound of Faith President Dave MacDonald and new Station Manager Peter Jackman cut the ribbon together.  As Dave stated in an article published in the Brantford Expositor, it was a symbolic “passing of the torch”.

The new Faith FM will remain at the same dial position of 93.9 FM, and now has a new logo, with new website to come!  Dave has also hired more staff, and is thrilled to announce that there will now be a live on-air presence for the morning drive time.  The music mix will be largely contemporary Christian, with spoken word programming from 8:30 am – noon.  They are also committed to airing as much Canadian content as possible.

Dave, we are so excited for you and the Faith FM team in Brantford; may God continue to bless the path of this new addition to the Sound of Faith Family, along with Faith FM in Kitchener, Faith FM in London and Hope FM in Woodstock!
